 hp 22es monitor bleeding?

hey everyone. i recently purchase hp 22es ips monitor..but i didnt statisfied with the quality and black level...

are this consider backlight bleeding? sad.gif

did the black level mean contast? and wat the main purpose using for the monitor?

not sure the right teem is contrast..i guess yes..even when watching movie..can see at the edge its abit grey..
normal use only..gaming sometimes..but most of the time im watching movie..so its really annoying.

This is expected from ips panel. If u want true black, you should have bought a VA panel. That light bleeding is the common IPS glow

but should it like even..not some part brightee..some part darker?..

i bought this ips due to colour..its really good..with alot of postive feedback on amazon..

i already complain to hp malaysia..they said with sent service engineer to come and troubleshoot

U mean reflected by light? But i really ips fans boy.. since i not much play fps game.. but play alot of dota... hehe.

not reflected..but bleeding as explained by k!nex above...what ips monitor do u use? can share the black screen of it?

not sure all..but i guess depend on luck..already sent for waranty..hp malaysia technician come to my house aand collect the monitor..he said hp will repair..but it takes minimum 3weeks..or 1 month +..so long..hahaha

haha. but most of the IPS monitor will face this technology weakness problem la..
but i think when not using in a dark room or place, it wont feel the bleeding.
