FAQ volume control in windows, need hlp frm proz

hi guyz,

i reinstalled windows and i dont have volume control in notification bar.
so i went "sounds and audio devices" in control panel and try to tunr on the "place the volume icon in task bar" but when i do it i have "you dont have program. you have to install it" message. what can i do?

Yes. Try to install your sound card driver. u can c the status in My Computer - Properties - Hardware profile. Good Luck

get the cd driver that include with the motherboard,
and insert it into cdrom,
run it and install sound driver..

Rename it to sndvol32.exe

Place it into your C:\Windows\System32

the driver is ok and reinstalled it but itz still da same.....

Right click My Computer > Properties > Hardware > Device manager. If you see yellow "?" in your device manager, that means there are unknown hardware, in this case your audio device not installed properly. You might need to remove the unknown device, restart your PC, let Windows auto-detect the new hardware changes and reinstall the sound driver.
