Hi everyone,

Would like to know anyone who take up Affin Bank / AmBank on their home loan has any issue or not, for example slow disbursement issue, etc.

Heard some saying Affin very slow in loan disbursement to Developer and causes Buyer need to bear the penalty cost.

While AmBank issue with 1MDB & group founder court case will be up next month.

Hope everyone can share their experience.

Thank you all smile.gif

Stick with PBB, HLBB, or CIMB unless you are getting a really good rate elsewhere.

Currently awaiting PBE confirmation, but while waiting for it, i'm only able to considering these 2 banks (Ambank & Affin) which has approved my loan.

If no choice, then i'll need to to consider these 2 & need everyone yo give opinion... confused.gif

Getting more headache now as AmBank is tie-up with upcoming big legal issue involving 1MDB as in today news. On d other hand, also received some comments from friends saying Affin very slow in loan disbursement and even salary of the customers not being credited into customer account.

ask both banker to apply for lower rates. see which one approve your appeal. then decide.

Both banks already confirmed can't lower anymore.

AmBank(4.35) higher > Affin (4.30) , still thinking 0.05 whether worth considering Affin with many complains.

Hope can get some views from u guys

In terms of loan, nothing better than lower interest. Make sure you get them let go of the Takaful.

There is just no reason to go branded when comes to loan.

Affin offers quite competitive rates this year until recently, while Ambank rate quite high (for the ones I have seen). Seconded this, if can try with RHB MBB PBB HLBB CIMB too.
