I am looking for a deposit box around petaling jaya and i found this, safe deposit boxes sb in damansara perdana. may i know how is the boxes there and is it safe around there?

best safety box is with banks bro. my mom uses the HSBC one in kuching and it's underground and filled with heavy duty security measures and everytime you go in there will be an armed guard next to you. hope that helps in comparison

Then I would agree that the banks are your safest bet. But yes it's usually full. So you have to keep on trying asking every banks around you & don't be too picky on the bank location. If you don't grab it quick, someone else will.

Banks nowadays only offer that kinda facility for their premier customers.

depending what you are planning to keep in the boxes. if it's something very valuable I would suggest you buy a safety box and nail it down somewhere in your home and hide it to the point nobody knows and it will take superman's xray vision to find it. not even your family members incase one of you are kept hostage.

I wouldn't trust non bank safety deposits because of trust issues and whether these guys are covered by insurance in case shit happens.

you can get your contractor to drill 4 meter by 2 meter (depending on the size of your safety box) in the wall and place a movable book shelf on it. I think I saw one of my dad's boss having one back when I was little. he has a office in the house and the safe is within a wall. not expensive
