for wired routers, try check its compatibility with the 360.

modem -> wifi router -> LAN connection to 360 tongue.gif
at 360 side i just use auto configuration (get conf settings from router)
at router side, set a static ip for 360 and also do a portforward. thats it

your gateway is 10.0.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 or others?
if its 10.0.0.1, set ur xbox ip to something like 10.0.0.10
coz i've checked, theres only lan settings, dns settings, pppoe settings, and (another one i forgot).

sry i was out last nite. just came back hehehehehe brows.gif
gateway = the ip set for ur modem/router. if ur modem is set to 192.168.1.1 then gateway = 192.168.1.1
one way to check is... go to ur computer n do this:
Start > Run... > type in "cmd" without the quotes, then press enter > type "ipconfig" then press enter. then u can see the ip for the "Default Gateway"

every box/comp got its own ip. but that ip not necessarily equal to ur gateway. gateway ip is different, unless ur using ICS.
