any review? afaik..its a ads panel..not sure ips..hmm..but 32 inch,..woahh..thats kinda bigg ehh
It is some sort of IPS panel. Wide viewing angle just like typical IPS panel.I am comparing with a Dell U2515H that my friend recently bought. People complain new Dota 2 7.00 patch UI too small, I feel it is just nice with a 32 inch monitor
Actually in the market , there are only 3 main category for lcd panel.
1. IPS / PLS
2. PVA / MVA /VA
3. TN
If like to play those games like Metro :Last Light which have very dark ambience , I will suggest PVA panel actually. IPS black is not really black, it got some glow which is part of IPS panel weakness.
VX3209-2k is a no frills large lcd monitor. No USB ports. Power on LED freaking hard to see. Underneath the bezel itself, it does not face you, it faces the bottom. Button hard to press, at the back of the screen. Non height adjustable stand although it is very sturdy though. No Freesync, don't get cheated by advertisement, I am using an AMD card and the drivers does not detect it as a Freesync capable monitor. If you want to use display port, buy your own cable, inside the box, only got power cord ( this is the rounded pin ones, normally used for laptops , and it does not fit into an ordinary desktop power supply), HDMI cable and a VGA cable ( who uses this ancient cable with a 2k display anyways) . There is a 3.5mm audio jack that can transmit audio directly to speaker if you use a HDMI or Display port connection .
I bought this monitor because I think it is freaking cheap for a 32inch and there is nothing in the market that has a 10bit colour support even for 27inches for less than RM2k.
