Question about FC.

1. How is your Ertiga FC? Full tank city drive can reach how many KM?
(Mine is unstable, best is 430km full tank, worse is 250km full tank, I am a light footer)

2. Do you drive with overdrive on or off? Which one is the right way for better FC?
(I asked the Proton mechanic, they ask me to drive with overdrive off for better FC, which is different from what I see online, confused)

I also got the Ertiga not too long ago. 250km per full tank is way too low for your driving pattern. My 100% city drive will give me 430-450km per full tank. I don’t consider myself to be a light footer due to the road I travel everyday consists of many hill roads with lots of ups and downs. My rev range usually is around 2k to 4K max. Anything beyond 4K rpm is just making your engine roar with no significant push to your car.

However my full highway drive from KL to Penang will give me very good FC at around 580-600km per full tank with speed limit obeyed all the time up to 110km/h max. It is living up to claimed 6L/100km by Proton.

My only problem is the slight vibration from the engine/transmission when revving at around 1.5k rpm using 2nd gear. Gonna send to sc maybe after cny to find out what’s wrong.

For both of you guys,what is the average km/l that you guys get? Im wondering whats the normal range for ertiga in city driving

Which one has better FC, ertiga vs your ex saga vvt? Just curious to know. Tq

As a saga vvt owner, another factor that making the new saga vvt from getting better fc is because the hydraulic steering. as per my knowledge, hydraulic steering tend to make the fc slightly higher.

if the new saga vvt use eps, i believe the fc should be better.

Rubber rubbing rattling noise, especially when cold engine.
Anyone have this problem with loose o-ring at the engine cover? 1 finger can make it move.
