We can do new application at TM point Quill City Mall right. Im from Batu Caves, will passby Quill City mall later. The one in my area is not a TM point, it is just a dealer.

Yes. Confirmed it's a TMPoint. It's empty most of the time. laugh.gif

Just to correct some facts here. UTC's branch is no longer a TM Point. It has changed to TM dealer effective 1st Nov. I went there to transfer my UniFi to new place but they cannot do it as they are no longer TM Point. I went to Quill City mall instead.

It stated authorized dealer. For new application etc I think can be done. Upgrade then I am not sure Liao.

If official tm point they can do almost everything even things cannot be done by 100 or the email or online support.

I just got a call from TM Telemarketer today mention that I got an offer of RM159 for 30MB and RM169 for 50MB(after next year upgrade), both not include GST. I am currently having 10MB after an free upgrade couple of months back from 5MB. They mention no contract also but need to pay extra RM10/month to get from 10 to 30MB. Also, all call from the fix line will be 0.20/min and they do give extra 1 year warranty for those equipment.. Is it a good offer as I am suppose to get back to them by tomorrow morning if I accept the offer or should I just wait for something free to be happening early next year? biggrin.gif

Well.. I am currently paying around RM158/month and if additional RM10/month to get 2x current speed as compare to additional RM20/month for 4x speed.. would think perhaps 30MBps will be good enough..

Anyway, this is just RM10 cheaper than the current plan but without any contract beside the differences on no free call to fix line which I guess rarely use nowadays.

for condo user, please becareful before you perform your upgrade

you never know whether your line is capable to go as fast as that.

For my case, i'm pretty much stuck with 8mbps max due to 'bad internal wiring' as per what the technician said, not sure how true is this tho

The 50Mbps of RM 169 is for next year upgrade which is uncertain yet, TM can promise everything. tongue.gif

So, I supposed it is RM 169 for 30Mbps now until next upgrade to 50Mbps? unsure.gif

They just open recently and open everyday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., suits working people like us. biggrin.gif
Also quite convenient to access via public transport, get down at Medan Tuanku Monorail station as it is linked from the station. biggrin.gif

If I upgrade to 30MB and next year wont be able to get 50MB free upgrade but RM169 include GST. if I opt for 50MB which will be effectively free upgrade by early Jan, then will be RM179 include GST.

Then, if you pay RM 169 now, what will be your current speed? Still 10Mbps until the so-called free upgrade next year?
