I had experience of using mbb card for a transaction of rm365. The pbb terminal prompted me to key in pin number. It went through.

I think small purchases without pin still cap at rm250 unless reset with a pin purchase

For Mbb, transactions below rm250 the max amount is capped at rm250 per day. A pin entry transaction is needed to reset this limitation. For a transaction above rm250 a pin entry is required.

It's been said many times in this forum. For MBB, all transactions below rm250, the cumulative amount cannot exceed rm250 unless reset by a pin-entry transaction.

A transaction of more than rm250 does not bound to this limitation as a pin-entry is always required.

Both transactions were below rm250, that's why rm2.20 was rejected because cumulative amount has exceeded rm250 threshold.

Your rm120 transaction is successful because you already have done a pin-entry payment. This rm120 is the first below rm250 transaction.
