just done samsung pay at guardian, kinda fussy tho, use cimb cash rebate card, tap at front, twice it got rejected. Then change to maybank2card visa, only can go thru. And the guarding cashier asked to show my card front number. Btw i just noticed the number showing is not the card number, is the digital card number, wont that be confusing?

i guess alipay and samsung pay is a different kind of way. Alipay is like u have ur own credit or linked to ur bank account sort of thing? like prepaid. samsung pay is like u use ur phone as an identification and security for ur card so u dont have to use ur credit or debit card. i dont know how alipay work, but i think it is kinda like that.
