I've so far broken 3 parts already. hmmmm depends what you love, HG has more variety & faster to build. While MG releases are limited =( I started doing MGs before i went all in in HGs

Just buy locally cheaper and faster, unless it's a rare kit. If sales up to 40-50% then its cheaper to buy online though

Because the cheapest option did not have tracking, and it can took months to arrive. touch wood, so far so good around 3-4 weeks to arrive. If you want slightly safer option use SAL with tracking.
