Ball joint made from what? If polycaps ball joint you cant fix it except use something like paper.

If ball joint made from PS and ABS plastic, then you need to add more layer on it. Paint the joint part to fix loose problem sometimes work but I suggest to use putty as layer on ball joint. Sand it if too thick.

Do not use hobby cement, it is not add layer on plastic but instead melting it. I use putty on ball neck joint for my HG Unicorn before. It works better than layer of paint.

Plastic cement can be used, but it is not a first choice because there are much easier ways. The 'melting' process does not dissolve the plastic piece like thinner dissolving paint, otherwise people will not use it to remove seam lines.
I have never bought big boxes in Japan before, after seeing the sad condition of my friend's kit (MG Hi-Nu HWS Clear doh.gif) after touching down at KLIA laugh.gif
It's just not worth it and sometimes AA (and generally all airlines) can be very very strict about those and you end up paying extra baggages plus your kit isn't sufficiently protected doh.gif

Putting up the promo for the warehouse sales.

Nope, they only deliver within Singapore, registering requires a valid Singapore address.

The extra thin cement is basically the same as other plastic cement, it refers to the thin brush applicator actually.
*
Eh nope, I'm using the Mr.Cement Limonene type. It is extra thin solvent with lemon fragrant. The solvent does not bond with ABS plastic like my all purpose Mr.Cement Deluxe. Plus the cement is thin like water than thickness like glue. Not all hobby cement have same feature, there is a special cement for metal part, ABS plastic and such..

Multi purpose hobby cement works if you apply really thick layer but got risk as @advocado said .
Safe route is either use super glue or buy hardware top coat spray Anchor, Mr.DIY etc to apply the thick layer.

I like use putty method though because paint layer or super glue only working for a while before goes loose again.
Putty is harden like original plastic which is the best way to fix loose ball joint.

I really would like to digress from this issue now. I've said multiple times that it can be done but not as first or popular option that would first come to mind.

Clearly there are many variables involved from person to person, but I'm staying in the 'can do' camp and I've explained why it can be done. Simply put, the issue is whether it can, not that it should.

I'm going to ignore any post next that still imply or express that this is the only method recommended and used to fix loose joints.

Oh about the cement, I was comparing it to the Mr.Hobby Cement Deluxe, I find the drying time and viscosity very much the same with Tamiya Extra Thin.

Actually you can just order from Gamers Arena, they can help you to get P-Bandai stuffs if you really want, but the price is not going to be pretty, sometimes it can reach 1.5x more than the normal release counterpart's price laugh.gif

as much as I hate p-bandai, I don't think these kits would sell well for a normal release sweat.gif
though that zgokk arm might tempt a lot of people if it was release as a weapon pack whistling.gif

Fenice variant is a hot cake. I finding hard time to find the HG normal Wing Fenice at hobby store.
While Rinascita is popular enough to get a MG.

Disappointed with the RG. Bandai could have released it as HG by using the Zaku Origin mold. That kit is real solid and much better than RG Zaku.

That is not a suitable kit for first timer, and you want to paint it some more.

Get a cheap HG kit to practice first. HG Helmwige should be good.
