2018 is CCA 30th anniversary so it is could be MG Jegan and release date maybe on March 2018(same month with movie release 30 years back). It would be good time to release MG Jegan. There are like a dozen or more Jegan variation. You can turn Jegan Ecoas, Stark Jegan, F91 ver etc as P-Bandai but please make basic Jegan as regular release.

Or Bandai ditch the MG since we got already MG Nu ver Ka & Sazabi ver Ka and do an RG release of Nu Gundam or maybe PG Nu at late 2018.

Since we are into hobby cutter discussion (again)
Here's useful tips to identity single blade cutter design like Godhand SPN-120

New JR Zaku inner frame is different than old one.
Which is likely no same side skirt issue like old RG. Old Zaku use ball joint while this JR Zaku use C-shape joint for side skirt.

baru got my ZZ Ver Ka PO

then realised got expansion version one

should i sell my current one and get the full expansion set one?

heard the color is different too not to mention the additional parts

RM380-400 for Enhanced ver. Not worth it. Plus the color is white old school to replicate the anime ver unlike normal bluish white ver Ka.

If you like the Enhanced ver that much go buy the conversion part. Price less than Rm150 and you dont need to sell your kit.

Dont care. More grunt love is a good thing. Getting tired with Gundam flooding the MG line. Also since when MG #200 must be special? Bandai doesnt care with #200 special HGUC release.

My 2 cents opinion:
Yes it does makes a difference.

Many years back I used to own a pair of Tamiya cutter but somehow it rusted after few years and I threw it away.

Recently I bought a pair of cheap cutter (blue plamo one) but ended up finding out that I need to do a lot of sanding after cutting. Fed up, yesterday went and bought a pair of Tamiya side cutter slim jaw version and the amount of effort is a lot lesser now.

Oh btw, my 1st Tamiya cutter was bought in year 2002 and I stopped gunpla in 2004.

and now I'm back tongue.gif

Tamiya one is not with single blade side cutter but twin blade. Twin blade is a standard for hobby cutter. Its still leaving stress mark but more cleaner cut than cheaper cutter.

Their products seem to be more expensive than bandai's

QUOTE(kivatto @ Oct 29 2017, 11:36 PM)
FYI under Bandai as whole company, there are several branches under it. Bandai is not only a toy company.
So there are model kit division, figure division. You should not mixing them together. They are not related even though under same big company. And we got the Bandai Namco, the game production merged with Namco since 2006. Only to make video games and there is anime studio established by BandaiNamcoProduction/BNP, make anime like Gintama(which previously made by Sunrise).

Bandai as whole is a kids toys, adult collector toys, gunpla and model kits, figure, game and anime studio. Who's know what Bandai capable to do next.

So, why those action figure are more expensive than gunpla counterpart?

-Action figure is preassembled, ready to play. While gunpla is not. You need to assemble it from scratch.
-The cost to making action figure is way more expensive than gunpla. The assembled parts, painting are done by human labours, done in factories in China while Gunpla is 100% made in Japan, no human labours needed for item making. It is operated by injection machine. Technically those molding casting iron are far more expensive but it is only for short term because it is cost efficient for mass production gunpla.

In another word, action figure toys > gunpla in term of cost production. You still need to pay those human labours, unlike gunpla which is only operated by injection machine(well human labour is still used like moving the mass boxes of gunpla but they are not involved with gunpla production at all).

So it is normal that those Robot Damashii cost more than gunpla HG. But you sometimes can find those Robot Damashii toys in bargain bin anyway tongue.gif

Also, those action figure and gunpla have different purpose. Action figure meant to play while gunpla meant for model scale replication. Gunpla got articulation like action figure toys but you should not play it roughly like action figure.

To give you the clear view on how gunpla were produced.

This is how action figure/scale figure normally were produced:

Am I the only one who think the clear part from HGUC is way better than RG, MG and PG?
Not sure add clear gloss layer will have the same look. A bit disappointed.

lol Bandai join the Full Metal Panic model kit war.
Aoshima is bigger but bad kit.
Kotobukiya is smaller and expensive.
Bandai one will be the best of all three.

Unonfirmed source but that "PG Nu" cost about 98,000 yen which like Rm3,500++

Plus with heavy weight due to diecast parts, its shipping cost gonna be killer too.
