I don't mind God Gundam, the MG build is way outdated.

I rather spend that much (actually, a fraction of that) money on really sharp blades and quality filer.

What bothers me is that there are no announcement whether the LED will be sold separately through P-bandai.. I hope they do though.. because of *cough* alternative *cough*..  whistling.gif

But the use of the new lighting could mean that we may not get the rotating GN Drive gimmick.

Well.... cough*alternative*cough is imminent.

But I would like to see more of the sample kits, sometimes Bandai make improvements to their prototypes. The arms and legs look bigger. Then again, same goes to ARF, the MG looks much sleeker and the RG balances it out between the MG and PG.

It amazed me that no matter how i use setter, softer and then squeeze it dry, before i did a layer of coat, it always risk of getting off and went MIA mad.gif
*
Which is ironic that their products are inferior to other manufacturers. I like DaLin a lot since their decals are more durable to abuse and really stay on the pieces.

Still haven't finished with RG Unicorn.

It just came to me how much I hate to do masking for RG pieces. HG is still bearable since there are less details, but with RG there are nooks and crannies that you have to be careful of doh.gif

i use third party decals and left over decals from other MG, hate the sticker, the marking and even the fonts seems so old school  sweat.gif
If u mean a full set of Water decals for Rx-78-2, i search around and found only MG, RG and Mega size but no PG sad.gif
*
I remember there was a third party waterslide decal for PG granddaddy, but definitely not Dalin or Samuel.

I can only get the Da Lin UC0079 decal but they don't come with things like RX-78-2 or the WB
*
Nah I saw them on ebay. Maybe you'll find it in Taobao.

Welcome back!  Guess i will get a pair of SPN 120 this coming Sunday, after seeing through various video showcasing the the amount of nub and stress after each cut, I guess it really will help with my build time, but one thing to worry, they say the blade is very fragile, yet i see video showing people review by cutting the runner itself  blink.gif , so what to be avoid when using this type of nipper??  how tough is tough when they say some runner part can break the blade?

Found some guide, now I hesitate again sad.gif
*
Might as well use cheapo cutter if you have to be that careful doh.gif It's like driving lowered car in bumper-prone areas doh.gif

HLJ staff claim the hi-res break his nipper, but again he been using for 100+ kits as he claimed  sweat.gif

Well, I'm not questioning the efficiency of God Hand as I've used it a couple of times (not mine). While it was impressive, the cutting result was still not as per what I could achieve with proper blade and often need further trimming and filing.

Other people might be content with the result so if they can afford it, that's great, especially for OOB builders. For me, I always paint my kits even though I don't customize them so reasonably well-trimmed pieces are important, something I just can't achieve with nipper alone.

And reading the precautions from the reddit post, if I was compelled to be delicate when using those expensive nippers, then the alternative is obvious: get a disposable RM5 side cutter and I can cut on the big runner piece itself.

So much mix feeling about this nipper
I use a hasegawa nipper, cost about 60-80 if i remembered, what bother me is the sanding and polishing, whenever i cut a part expecially with a big gate, i spend like 2-3 mins of constant rubbing with sanding tool and polishing just to get rid of the stress mark (white surface), is that normal?  If god hand still require amount of trimming and sanding/polishing, maybe i will skip it sad.gif
*
Sometimes stressing or flashing is unavoidable, you could say that the defect is in the mold. If I don't heavily customize the kit, I would just paint that piece (and its counterpart on another leg or arm, or whatever piece that's correspond with it).

Now when u guys were talking about getting taxed when bringing back kits from Japan. Now I'm a bit worried since I think somewhere in the future I might get something when I visit again..

So if I were to get like a few MG kits still in box and in a luggage will I risk getting taxed?
*
Yes naturally.

Erm I thought those gold trim is part of the component...  hmm.gif
*
LMAO.

No. For MG, you need to do the gold trim yourself.

Marker : The easiest way, but it won't be shiny.
Decal : This is the retard way, you'll most likely end up throwing the kit at the wall.
Paint : This is the most sensible way. Just concentrate on the masking part and the result is worth it.
