Thought of buying banking or other Oz stocks as AUD seems cheap now....the movements of all these stocks are highly correlated though .. I guess it’s a matter of take your pick.,.

You can't get 15% !  Treaty will not help you !

But,... in order to get only a 15% WHT from the CRA - Canada Revenue Agency, there are more steps involved.

If,..truly, the housing mkt has BOTTOMed,... look at the banks, the mortgage-brokers and the valuation companies - the Big 4 banks and the regional banks, MOC, LMW, AVJ and VLW,...

Sis,... please bear in mind that whatever you receive as your dividend payout would be less by 10% when you receive the amount in your SCB acct compared to published rates that you see in the news and disclosures. You would have received dividend payouts previously - am I right in my calculations ?

HK is too high risk for me. I sold all my MAGIC. diversify into other Sg reits.

i got into the 3 s'por bank.. during the oil crisis.. with all the stories on Loan Default blah blah..

Since our aim to collect some div.. and maybe some capital growth along the way..
