Vista Parcel shipped from Taiwan...Just received this morning..

OMG bro! does it come with hardware driver? Its it OEM or upgrade version of vista? Hope bro can give us some info bout the package bro received! GRATS BRO!

Talking bout free upgrade, this mean that u guys got Window Xp original cds and now another copy of Vista? So u get 2 OS??

Yes and no

If we type in the xp cd keys into the Vista and upgrade it the XP cd keys will be invalid in future install..
but if we left the keys blank we'll have 2 original OS i read this somewhere when i googling..

But u need to key in the cd key in order to install it mah??

From the website i read, The Vista have diff key.. before u install, u just left the old key (XP keys) blank and click 30days trail. Then after install they only key in the Vista cd keys..

I cant confirm this yet.. hope accs can give us more detail after he install.. and after i get my Vista i'll post it here how to activate Vista without sacrifice XP keys and how to kill old XP cd keys at the same time

Hehe but for now, i think Accs is too excited with his new Vista. Just like me when i got my Home Premium on last Friday at LYP.

It has own CD-Key. But its CD has printed 'UPGRADE' ... So dunno can clean install or not.. The COA sticker printed 'express upgrade' hehe

Hmm, lfor my OEM version, COA Sticker doesn;t state Express Upgrade. Erm, is it business or Home Premium u get? Do tell us more. How bout the packaging?

It state Express Upgrade cuz we r getting the Vista CD from Free Upgrade programme..Microsoft call it Express Upgrade. Im getting Home Premium. Packaging is just same as OEM package, Vista DVD, DVD Cover and small booklet.

Bro, no driver included from manufacturer? thats mean we have to prepare the driver before we trying to upgrade?

normally those certified win vista capable pc, isn't their hardware drivers are already built into vista itself?

Normally u dun have to worry much on driver. It will install automactically all the driver for u once u connect to internet.



Looks like u have the same OEM packaging like mine..

A bad news for all.. Seem the CDKEY given is for upgrade only..Means no clean install.. Must install from WinXP OS

Haha! alot ppl will feel same like u do.. 'express' upgrade! Btw bro, i never have pending in my status until now ler.. Did u do everything they request.. like sent them the copy of your POP etc etc..
