Hi guys, i would like to buy macbook. But i dont know which one is better, either macbook air or macbook.

mac pro

too heavy for me since i want light laptop so that i can bring it everywhere.

depends on what you use it for imo.
if its very lightwork and you value the added portability, id get the air.
if youre going to be using it more as something daily, id get the pro.
both are relatively powered depending on how you spec it and are great uni laptops (if youre using it for that)

i'd prefer the air.

my primary concerns for the macbook are the crappy webcam, having to get dongles for everything that isnt usb c and the fact that theres only one port for just about everything.

get 12 inch macbook.. Superb design + retina display... MBA? 5 years ago design

macbook air? dun even think of it for such a end of life product.

macbook 12-inch or macbook pro u won't go wrong with either one.

best retina ,portability and very responsive trackpad - i love it

this basic macbook 12 1.1ghz, i use smoothly on all MS Office, Adobe photoshop CC 2015, After Effect, video and picture editing

everyday carried on to office and it lookalike u are carried ipad

i'll pick MB12 although I'm using MBA13 now.

The new MBP isn't that heavy lah.

To My Opinion, MacBook Air is better.

saw ur comments that u dun wan heavy then go macbook air.

tbh, mbp better except thick/heavy.

New MacBook pro is as light as MacBook air now. And it is thinner and smaller footprint than MacBook Air.

MacBook air is a totally outdated product now there is no reason to get it still unless one is really really budgeted that the savings of little by buying MacBook air than MacBook pro makes big difference.

Hi, just to check - are you using 128GB, 256GB or 512GB SSD?

128GB and 256GB SSD are all very small. But 512GB very expensive!

as light as macbook air 13" if not mistaken.

dont go for mac air, the thick bezel is such a turn off .

macbook 12" is sexy too, but good for normal usage only.

heavy duty better opt for Mac Pro

ps: choose at least 256gb & 8gb ram.

i have basic one - 256gb, so far enough for my usage becoz i have plenty of external HDD & thumdrive
