It depends with your setup, and your ear too. It benefit more on lossy codec like mp3 rather than lossless, as it increased the impact on low and high frequency

Look here for what it done to frequency spectrum

In fact I was just about to ask regarding the Crystalizer biggrin.gif From what I read, it enchances the sound and suppose to make the SQ better but it only gives an advantage to low/mid range speakers. For the higher end ones, they'll turn it off. I tried on my Elite Pro and it does make a difference but I only had it at 20%-25%. It defaults at 50% but I feel it doesn't sound good at that point smile.gif

In theory it should makes it sound better, but it all depends on song, bitrate and your gear. If you asked me, all these are useless. If you want the best quality, buy original CD and rip them to lossless. If you don't have much money, try to look for lossless online

That's a big nono SC  doh.gif
It's not even a real XFi, just changing the name of it while it is actually no where far from Audigy.

Get XFi XtremeGamer at the very least, depends on your budget though.
If budget allows, auzentech would be a better choice  rclxms.gif

noob question...

auzentech can get from where ar? garage sales got ar?
