It really depends on your budget,the more you're willing to spend the higher the upgrade.However the Creative cards are gaming cards at core, though they also good for movies.If you hardly game at all then you might not need to upgrade after all.You can look for alternative cards too.If you got dough to spend get the X-Fi i'm using nforce2 onboard sound with soundstorm
