just purchase and activated my Dolby digital live and dts connect pack for my extreme music, on my winxp sp3 32bit,

works nicely but strange, only Dolby digital live available, no DTS connect as mention, wat i miss leh?

is it only for vista? havent tried mine vista os yet...

anyone?

i was seeing this product before i got my x-fi 5.1 usb last june. it is really 169SGD for the receiver i really remember. now they sell it at 29SGD. what do you think of that?

there is nothing wrong with the X-Fi chipset, it has a excellent SRC, EAX5.0 hardware accelerated...the only downside is Creative using the low quality capacitor and opamp in their analogue circuit...so Auzentech is just the solution for Creative downside.

hi, i'm using the creative t20. i'm planning to get the x-fi titanium for the digital input to connect with my ps3.

but will i experience a great improvement in sound quality for my pc gaming, music and movie.

i'm still going to get the sound card for the reason stated above, but it would be great if it improves my pc experience as well. any comments?

if you;re referring to USB X-Fi Surround 5.1 then think again. mine is now on the box. waiting to send to creative shop to ask again.
it didnt work good on my desktop. even gave me BSOD when i plug it in straight.

U are using the coaxial out i suppose? Or you have that extra dongle to output to optical out?

bsod is blue screen of death, means ur computer suddenly error and restarted.
actually this product sounds good, its just that got driver issues. i believe it creative release proper driver, should be no bsod, because using old driver its more stable. but sounds crap.

Consider asus xonar x1 right now since the X-fi Go got problem. How is this two compare? I am prefer the sound card can give better effect to musical as mostly i using my speaker to listen to soft music. =)

my problem is with the x-fi surround, not the x-fi go.
as expected the creative emails say that firstly, she is aware of the issue (wtf) and then she said if it works on other computer then it should be my desktop problem.

wait until i come singapore i come to the creative showroom where i bought it.

Hey guys, I used to download youp-pax and Daniel-K drivers but can't find them anymore. What drivers do you guys use these days? Care to share?

Me too using Daniel K driver becos the driver i use from creative is having a lot of problem, after using Daniel K driver inever look back, simply becos no more bsod n the sound seem more clear n punchy. I got this driver from 3d guru site.

Any latest versions? Anyway, the Elite Pro is somewhat a very old model now

i tried this baby last day wit my x-pc set (sold to my fren long time a go that i paired Altec Lansing 321 *oh yeah 8-9 years old* wit Soundblaster 5.1 live...)

but somehow i feel the music is much better wit the 5.1 live!.. hmm dunno why.. trying to adjust2 the EQ also like cant beat the 5.1 live! or the speaker is sumting like "bottleneck* the new x-fi structure?

Actually bought it two weeks ago, n it's fantastic

Just one drawback, currently doesn't support my audio front panel - which for AC '97.
X-fi titanium only support Intel HD front panel..
Anyone had any idea on how can I get that panel??? Or any casing with Intel HD front panel?
