If am not mistaken, IMU is in Bukit Jalil. Am not sure about the university environment, but what I know, the area is not busy. Rarely got jammed there. Also, there is train near the university. If you willing to stay around the area, there are a lot of apartment, house there.
This is what I know, since my aunty staying near the place.

Today I saw a letter in the Star saying that there is a medical university in JB with 5 students in the current intake and is desperate for students. Students there said it is good with no hurdles for failures. Still will progress as there is a "guarantee" to graduate.

But another thing to consider is your patient mix. How far are u willing to go to learn the languages required? With MAHSA you'll be based in KL I think, so most of your patients will be able to converse in English. With NuMed it's either HSI or HSAJB, where patients are more likely to speak in BM or Mandarin. I dont know about IMU local. Maybe someone else can chip in.
