I kinda wish that Megaman can steal the power of previously defeated enemies. You know how Rogue can steal 1 ability from her opponent in X-men VS Street Fighter? Perhaps Megaman can have a similar ability, where he gets the ability of whichever character that gets KO'd first. For each new round though, he starts off his basic Mega Buster again. Not gonna happen though. X will most likely play just like Megaman did.

Actually, I prefer the 2 vs 2 setup more than the 3 vs 3 setup in Marvel vs Capcom 2 and 3. A lot less hectic.

The last fighting games that use Gems as a mechanics were Marvel Super Heroes and Super Gem Fighters from Capcom.

I don't have an opinion whether 2v2 or 3v3 is better, since I'm fine with either. But I do like the slower pace of the older 2D VS games instead of the newer ones.

Yeah and it falls under 2017 Season 2 DLCs also.

Grinding for characters is really a waste of time. Also, I didn't bother to buy any of the stages also.

Worst of all, you can't grind via arcade mode because arcade mode is missing.

Yup, still waiting on that arcade mode. It's so frustrating trying to just get an extra character, it's ridiculous. I can't be bothered to even try unlocking characters anymore.

I consider arcade mode a much better avenue to learn special moves and practice Bread and Butter combos (in a safe environment)

Nothing beats playing local multiplayer though.

Ok with online multiplayer but kinda lost the personal interactions.

I never really fought other players in the arcade, even during the arcade glory days. I would wait for someone to finish playing, then only drop coin or token to play. If someone challenges me, then it's game on. Otherwise I quite like playing alone and beating the boss. Like you say, that's also how I practice specials and combos.
