No source but it is somewhat connecting the dots by self.

Disney owns Marvel from movie, comic to video games, everything.

x-men and fantastic 4 copyright still hold by Fox.

In order to somehow get back the copyrights which was sold by MCU during the 90s, Disney aggressively "starved" any marvel superheroes that still not come back to them. They stop publishing X-men and Fantastic comics, and it doesn't just stop here, other medias which contain both x-men and F4 will also get affected.

Thus as I said on the Marvel vs Capcom Infinite thread, don't expect any x-men characters to appear.

This has been a long time coming, seriously. Out of the Capcom Marvel fighters, we only got X-men Children of the Atom in 1997, then nothing for ever and ever. At least we got all the major Street Fighter games , except SF3 and SF Zero 3. While you're at it Capcom, why not bring MVC2 too?

I think we got Street Fighter 2 Alpha / Zero and Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo long time ago. It was a shitty windows port.

I was hoping they bring the Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD edition on to PC. Very nice graphics for that really old game.

We got SSF2T in 1995, SSF2 in 1996 for some reason, Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo in 1997, SF Zero 1/2 in 1997/1998, then no SF Zero 3. That was the last SF game we got until SF4 in 2009.

I actually thought both SF Zero 1 and 2 were decent ports, BUT they required quite a beefy setup to run satisfactorily. SF Zero 2 was the better port, but you still had to dial down some settings for it to play smoothly. Gameplay wise, SF Zero 2 played perfectly with the right setup. It was just the presentation that was lacking.

During those days, I was playing all of them on the keyboard.Used to be so difficult to get fighting games on the PC and those on PC were pretty forgettable (except for One Must Fall - the old version).

Only started using the arcade stick for SF4 and continue to mainly use arcade stick from then onwards.

I initially played on keyboard, then I got a Phase 9 Phantom 2+ gamepad later on. Super Famicom style gamepad, missing only the Start and Select buttons. And it had lots of games supporting it support too. OMF2097 was the shit on PC. Lots of good memories playing that game. Too bad OMF Battlegrounds burned the series to the ground.

My controller history:

My first game pad was the Logitech Motion Sensor Gamepad and the Logitech Gamepad (which looks a bit like PS2 controller but with the throttle slider (it was awesome for Mechwarrior games during that time).

Subsequently, I bought the Logitech Gamepads which were replicas of PS 2 controllers. After that, it was wired Xbox 360 controllers and Hori Real Arcade Pro 3 modded with Sanwa buttons.

And finally today, I have 2x Xbox One Controllers and 2x Qanba 4 arcade sticks.

I had the Logitech Wingman Rumblepad back in 2001, which had that slider thingy. First PC-only controller to support force feedback I believe. From there onwards I just stick to wireless Xbox 360 controller for many, many years. Only in the last year did I get a wireless dongle for Xbox One, so now I switched over to Xbox One controller. Oh, and I used to have a Hori Real Arcade Pro 3, which I used during the good old SSF4 sessions we used to have. Then I switched to a Hori Real Arcade Pro V3 SA, and somehow I stopped playing SF online.

That is exactly what I had, Logitech Wingman Rumblepad many years back.

Did you try to mod Hori Real Arcade Pro 3? It was quite fun and each button I think cost about RM6 to RM8 for Sanwa parts. I wanted to try Seimitsu parts but then I had to travel to different countries for work.

I stopped playing Ultra Street Fighter 4 online (Unless with friends). I always end up meeting toxic players, either they rage quit or they insults via messenger (back then was GFWL), regardless whether they won or lost which is quite weird.

If won, they will say something like I really suck at this game. If lost, they will say that I cheated.
