As we all know that Hybrid cars like the Toyota Prius, Honda Civic Hybrid, Lexus RX400H & etc... has two engines, which are the regular engine & an electric motor.

My question here, if anyone bought a hybrid here in Malaysia, how does the JPJ charge the road tax? In some countries both engines charge seperately.

Any idea? hmm.gif

I dont think malaysian has any sort of incentives for green cars. Honda did bring in a civic hybrid with the 7th gen civic, but thats just it. Honda subsidized themselves

now if u use NGV , ur roadtax will be discount 50% (JPJ said because that engine reduce pollution). but for hybrid (electric) , i think same there la .
