Just got my first Vaio today. VGN-CR13W. Cool!! But updates very slowly... any idea or anything i should know bout it? Manged to update my vista successfully....

No, the vaio updates... extremely slow.. not sure if it was the server or what... will try again later today.. i haven had any time to read the manuals.. anything in particular i need to know?

Anybody has a CR13G? One of the features is the illuminated light just at the bottom tip at the front... Basically i donno what it does except it comes on when you shut down the Vaio and during startup... Apart from this.. does it do anything else?

Ya.. as far as i know.. You can get one year extended warranty by using Maybank SONY card at sony store.. But Another year? How come? I bought mine on 1st Oct.. Can i still buy another 1 year?So far mine got 2 years warranty.. but still haven got the card second year!

Just wanna ask.. if there is a special temperature monitoring software for VAIO notebooks.. like cpu temp.. HDD temp.. motherboard temp.. Any links to download? What softwares are you guys using?
