i think your VOS is valid, you can call the service center to ask them to send you the sticker faster. the service center service is very good. nod.gif

this is normal as 32bits windows can only use up to 3gb ram. My VAIO Z27 come with 4GB default, and it shows 3gb as well wink.gif

go to control panel--> remove program-->installed windows update

find the internet explorer 8 and remove it wink.gif

try this
1.Close all programs except Windows.

2.Click Start, type appwiz.cpl in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.

3.In the Tasks pane, click View installed updates.

for the battery, i think you enable the battery care function..

you can go to start-->VAIO Control Center-->power management-->battery charge function to disable it wink.gif
