can someone upload the memory stick icon for vista? my memory stick icon is missing

I just installed Windows XP on the laptop because windows Vista was way too slow, and now my problem is that I can't find all of the drivers for Windows XP
originally there was a folder called Drivers on C drive, I copied that to other computer before formatting and the only working drivers for windows XP are Bluetooth, Memory Stick and Intel chipset drivers..

Need driver for
-ethernet controller
-mass storage controller
-network controller
-pci device
-video controller (VGA compatible)
-WLAN (i cant connet to net also T_T )

Anyone can help me ??..

having some problem here with the built in motion eye and live messenger. ever since i was forced to update to 8.1, messenger says the camera will not be detected or its in use by another program

it works in vaio camera capture utility... but after launching live messenger, it doesnt work in any program anymore.

need help. using SZ series.

i'm a user of the sony FE45G/W model.

my vaio came with pre-installed vista home premium.
because of my school, i need to use XP Pro for their programs and such, so i'm did a dual-boot and haf both vista and xp pro..

problems is that, i need the graphics driver(nvidia geforce go 7600), and the Fn buttons are not working, making my vaio unable to b displayed on the projector when the VGA is connected...

i know whenever u nid to change the display u hold onto Fn button and press the F1 - 12 keys, which ever that have a monitor logo on it.. But mine doesn't work.. can anyone please enlighten me on my problem?

another thing is, the battery life last roughly 1hr and 10 mins at the max when running XP, but when running vista, i can run a max of 2.5hr...
any idea what can i do? as in like, is there any software or a sony driver where by it helps to maximise ur battery?

i've been told by the sales person that this laptop model can support up to maximum 2Gb RAM.
can i actually change it to higher? like mayb 4gb ram?

first of all I would like to take this opportunity to say hello and proud to join this club....... even before own a vaio.

I never used a sony vaio before, all the while I'm using an another made notebooks wish not to mention the brand, as every corner of low yat I have noticed that the banglas is selling the particular brand and it made me feel......... I guess you guys know what I'm trying to express..... 

Well under this state of affair I'm moving in to sony vaio...... I believe I have made the right choice.... the question here is I walked into one of the shop in town to do some survey on the vaio as usual the sales person approached and pretended to help me and asked what I need and I told him what I wanted and oppose some question about vaio.

The sales person introduced me the VAIO VGN FZ28G he told me that it's on sale right now as a newer model will be out soon to replace this model ( HE IS SO HONEST ) so we are clearing the stock if you don't mine this is a very good unit and a very good buy and he offered me this unit for RM 6499.00 is this a good buy and worth buying or should I wait for the newer model and pay extra 35%.

Please help in this scenario as your opinion is so much appreciated.

well, i've heard many said that sony notebooks are not stable, coz their profession is not mainly on laptops..n about their battery heating problems..n well, my friend's friend bought it n after using two months, it had to be sent back for repair for two months..

i'm a college student, will mostly use designing programs n i really can't afford this to happen..but i love the design and the clear screen..n bsides, i still don't get it y sony notebooks aren't stable..

given me the crappiest laptop brand in the world that u can name, i still can use without any "unstable" or any other related issues.
believe it, sometimes is just the person on his/her knowledge in computing stuff that really matters.
computer brand just promote a small factor to it.

since u're a college student, just aim for budget instead of brand. and looks like u're into designs and stuff, why don't you opt for Macbook? or Macbook Pro?

ive installed vista SP1 for my CR35 few days ago..
afta the restart all the audio has no sound
ne1 has such a problem?

lastly i system restore it n everything is back to normal.
i wanna install SP1!!

not sure bout vaio.. thats y i wanna try it out n c wats da diff.
my fren's compaq has improvements such as quicker start up, shut down, n it saves battery life..
