GPU : gigabyte gtx 1060 6gb
Processor : intel core i5 6402p

and while I was playing the game Dying Light , the game was spiking like hell and my FPS is very low. Has anyone experienced this before?

Press CTRL-ALT-DEL and ring up task manager..

Check what is using up the most resources.. isolate, retest and repair..

maybe your pc using Intel HD Graphics instead of NVIDIA dedicated GPU.

try below

From NVIDIA Control Panel
3D Settings->Manage 3D Settings
Tab "Global setttings"
Preferred Graphics Processor
Select : High performance NVIDIA rocessor

IF the GPU working fine, any mobo will auto select GPU instead of on board.
on board graphic, u have to plug in cable on board..if the cable set on GPU, for sure its using GPU output, not the on board.

as i mention earlier, did u notice if u had Nvidia driver installed?

Thanks everyone . You guys would never find out what the problem is because the problem is me . I plugged the cable to my MOBO and Monitor instead of GPU to Monitor . Im so sorry because its my first time setting up a pc and I wanna thank you guys so much for giving so many solutions . I can only say Laugh Out Loud xD

I was actually tempted to ask the question of where you plug monitor to...hahaha. Glad you resolved your "problem".
