already thought about it but just not doable cos:
1. cannot use those cheap2 or average HID kits cos the plastic headlamps will melt! installing high end kits costing a quarter of the bike price is just.. not wise.. sweat.gif
2. not jpj friendly.. prepare to receive 'love letter' when u are stopped at a jpj roadblock, a fellow biker with HID kits has shared his exp before.. cry.gif

my solution - use better halogen bulbs and not the eom types.. trying philips vision plus.. will try osram cool blue next.. icon_rolleyes.gif

smile.gif Hi,I am going to buy TZm coz it is my dream bike during studying in UUM 1998.I found one, made in 2000 Millenium edition. Not for racing just going to work in solo motion.I just want to know:
1. How to know that th valve is not functioning?
2. When the suitable millage for overhaul?
3. Anybody can recommend me a shop(s) around KL/Selangor that expertise in TZM and not 'potong kepala' punya harga? Sentul ok ka? Which shop?

i'm not a pro tzm user but i've own 2 of these babies before..

1. you can send the bike to the shop to service the power valve OR you can try riding the bike your self and go full throttle on a highway stretch.. if the pickup and sound is smooth until u reach 150 then its ok..

2. doesnt matter.. if the bike is well taken care of then you dont need it so soon.. ride the bike n feel it.. if it feels sluggish, poor acceleration with lots of smoke then its better to overhaul..

3. an honest shop anywhere with exp in servicing a TZM will do.. if Sentul is near to your place then its ok to go there but you'll have to try several shops to get a good shop u can trust with your bike.. at sentul.. most service jobs there are 'cincai' work.. of course its cheap but so is the quality/workmanship.. if sentul is far from your place.. dont bother going there.. trust me.. i've sent my RG sport/TZM/ZZR/GTR there only as a last resort..
