get ur facts right bro

not everyone gaming esport or fps

console fps always not a good choice

input lag ? u cant even aim properly with controller
*
Gaming on pc monitor is better compared to TV due to the input lag if you are a hardcore fps gamer .
Console FPS do have large player based as well thats why got MLG for COD . Not everyone will have same skill on controller and to generalize is a bit too much .
To each of its own will have MLG no scope skill and some resort to XIM4 or scuff controller to be better .

But at the end of day normal controller is the best way to go provided you have the time and patience.

Console fps always not a good choice ? Can you elaborate why ?

The official price from sony malaysia is RM1799 for PS4 pro. Don't buy from any conman who is selling higher.

Here is what Shuhei Yoshida, the President of Sony's Worldwide Studios, have to say about the PS4 pro shortage:
That means Sony didn't produce enough PS4 pro units to meet the high demand worldwide.

Source: http://www.digitalspy.com/gaming/ps4/featu...rio-run-rivals/

to call scalper conman is not right after all its based on willing buyer willing seller . As simple as supply and demand case .
Nobody force you to buy something that is overprice but if you have the money and dont have the patient I dont see anything wrong .

The problem lies with the supplier itself underestimate the market . I think from now onwards we will starting to see console having mid life upgrade cycle which is not good ....

Going down this apple path

Internet connection you cannot control, unless your father is TM's CEO. But input lag is something anyone can take control of, simply by choosing the correct display for their needs. The point is to minimize as many negativity in regards to controls.

Once again, there are people like you who doesn't know/understand what high input lag does to the general control fluidity of games. Ignorance is bliss as many say, which in your case is exactly that.

Unfortunately, not everyone has the same blissful ignorance as you... so, sucks to be us. rolleyes.gif

that dude is funny trying to change subject from display input lag to internet connection . Fact matter is there advantage using pc monitor as compared to tv for fps games if you are a hardcore player due to input lag . Of course dont confuse with refresh rate it wont matter for console

For me destiny ,bf1 ,cod ,overwatch I will play with my xim4 on a monitor while games like gta v , ffxv , fifa on controller connect to fhd tv

- faster load times and significant boost on internet speed.

- 90FPS in VR is hnnnngg, better clarity and more visual effects, less eye strain and dizziness.

- Non-VR, non-4K display gets generous boost as well, Battlefield 1 and FFXV hnnnngggh

Already more than enough to justify the pro, without even having 4K screens.

Extra controller, PS+ and warranty can't top that!

I think you guys might overrate ps4 pro . Yes , its better than regular ps4 but groundbreaking game changer solid 60fps hell no.

Fake 4k ? I think HDR much noticeable than 4k . Even regular ps4 can do HDR provided you have the right tv .

Regular ps4 will do the job for now . Unless future games can show tangible gain when using ps4 pro why not.

For now its kinda a mix bag . Instead of gaining performance you lose performance.

guys what is the best affordable tv with HDR to use with PS4 pro . Seems like the ks7000 49" price have gone up from 3.6k to 5k ++ ...

Now im torn whether it's worth spending 5k for a TV .

Current choice

1. Sony X800d
2. Sony x700d
3. Samsung ku6300
4. Samsung ks7000

From reading review ks7000 seems to be the best of the bunch . But buying tv at year end not sure whether thats a good idea
Currently , using LG LG LN5700 tv and Dell u2913wm monitor . Will this be a big jump from full hd to 4k with hdr ?

I got the 49KS7000 but I don't know if it the best out of all that you listed but what I do know is the TV is really great. The colours for HDR gaming looked amazing and the 4K gaming looked crisp and details. I bought it during the discounted period so if you want to buy it right now it's not the best TV if you're on a budget. My suggestion is to wait for the 2017 4K/HDR TV in June/July next year if you're not in a hurry to upgrade your display. TV manufacturers will surely improve the 4K HDR TV capabilities for gaming purposes.

If you dead-set on buying a new TV, Sony X800D is the best choice. It got wide colour gamut for HDR gaming, the only downside is it peak brightness not achieving 100 nits required for HDR gaming (according to www.rtings.com). If there's a good sale for X800D, why not tho.

thx for the reply. Will first go to harvey norman or any other retailer to view the tv and purchase online from there . But so far ks7000 looks a lot better than other model.

thanks for sharing . I already pulled trigger for curved ku6300 instead after reading that va panel on the k6300 is better than x800d 49" ips .

unless the x800d 43" with va panel availabe would have purchase it instead.

is rm 2.2k a good budget buy? Made a mistake not ordering ks7000 when the 43" was available for 3.6k.

Hope gaming on ps4 pro on 4k would be nice....

Guys, I planning to get 1 PS4, but wondering should get PS4 Slim or the Pro version, not planning to buy a new 4K TV because of the console, but will use my Dell Ultrasharp instead.

Currently able to get a PS4 Slim + FF XV for RM 1,242, worth it?
*
If you dont mind waiting go for ps4 pro . After using 4k tv with PS4 Pro , yes its worth it but with normal 1080p tv not much difference .

Of course PS VR will have advantage as well .

Get your PS4 Pros ready guys, firmware 4.5 coming tomorrow (or day after rather, for us). Just don't expect boost mode to be beast mode, just sayin'.
*
After watching people playing Bloodborne running on 4.5 with no improvement I don't have that much expectation.

Would be nice if they release it on PC as well
