first time posting this thread. I've been planning to get ps4 for a long time, but the announcement for ps4 pro got me waiting. After that, sony slashed the price for ps4 slim which got me conflicted between a cheap ps4 or a newer ps4 pro. Yesterday I saw an offer at 11street that made my mind. Of course I might have to wait till mid April for the 2nd batch to arrive.


I haven't bought any games yet, but among my list are:
- uncharted 4
- MGSV
- Ratchet & Clank
- Nier Automata
- Amplitude (my old classic fav since ps2)
- RE5,6,7 (my fav series)

Any other suggestions? I'm actually looking more at games that I can play together with my kids or they can play by themselves in 2 person mode. GTA definitely out of the list as I do not like the game element. LEGO series are good, but they've played it in PC mode already.

Yes, and the price is really nice. I don't know about your place, but all 7/11 I went already has these PSN cards selling. Not just PSN, there's also ZALORA gift cards, facebook game cards, Heartstone and plenty others. There's usually the 12 month psn plus subscription at around $129 (I think), and there's the PSN card valued at RM100 and RM250. Simply choose the card you wanna purchase, proceed to the counter and pay. They'll scan the card to activate it via MOL. All you have to do is scratch the code at the back of the card and key it in the website.

Just look for a section like this in the store.


For me, a 2nd controller is a must, unless you play your console on single player mode all the time. Granted this package gives you a second controller, I'm not sure if its original controller. But the two years warranty probably seem like a good bonus, though I'm not too concerned with just 1 year warranty. If you want a basic set, this one is good:

Yea, the price for ps4 slim is going down, but not at a staggering rate. I predict it'll stop at 1k, otherwise PS3 consoles will suffer in the market. At the moment, supplies for ps4 pro is trickling in, but I think by June, there should be enough supplies throughout malaysia and hopefully some great bundle offers along the way. PS4 is definitely bossing the console market at the moment.

Can I ask is the additional controller original or oem?

And that is why the new dualshock allows for usb connection for gameplays. The previous dual shock only allows charging via usb cable.
