My TV is only 32" currently lol. Waiting for Samsung 55'' KS7000 to drop in April/May before i get a unit.

For now, I'll just enjoy the 1080p 60fps for some of the games

You have several options, descending order in terms of convenience.

1. Just hooked your laptop (Win8.1 and 10 or Mac) to the bedroom TV and use the Remote Play app. Ensure good WiFi connectivity. If you don't like USB cable to the DS4 controller, you can always buy a DS4 wireless dongle. PS4 Pro can stream at 1080p with high frame rates.

2. Get a PlayStation Vita TV if you prefer to use a dedicated unit rather than your laptop.

3. Use a HDMI splitter and wired it to your room (don't know about the video quality though..). But I kinda doubt the DS4 controller can connect so far away unless your bedroom is just beside the living room or directly upstair (even so, i still have doubts)

So far, playing game no crash. I only experienced once where it refused to boot up after leaving it in Rest Mode overnight (with a game suspended in background)

Yes, need to turn on your PS4 Pro at living room. Then connect to the same WiFi, so that the streaming is via local network.

To everyone in KL that still searching for PS4 Pro, can try to go Sunway Velocity to look for it, either at the ground floor (got event) or Harvey Norman 3rd floor.

No, I use my laptop whenever the TV is not available...

Try looking from game shops etc. it's not very popular here, so Sony Malaysia might not have brought many units in since long time ago.

Not sure. I think Harvey Norman redirected all their stock to there since they having a Gaming Carnival

Maybe u can call to their Sunway Velocity branch to ask.

go pre-order with shops like Gamers Hideout and Harvey Norman, then maybe u can get a unit when it arrives mid-March. Think they are guaranteed certain units of PS4 Pro when stock arrives.

So far those GEMFIVE shop like GameHypermart gives empty promises only. Not 100% confirmed to get units but still open pre-order. See stories that ppl being pre-ordering from Nov till now.

theoretically, loading time should be faster because of the higher transfer rate of USB3.0 and if u r using a 7200rpm HDD.

expect ppl to do the testing when the 4.50 firmware is officially out

external HDD support alone is worth the entire 4.50 firmware upgrade

Playstation China posted the 4.50 patch notes but was taken down.

Boost mode is for PS4 Pro only (for the obvious reason)
