I think the only chance ppl have in getting a new unit when the next batch arrives is either thru Sony online store or Saveallstore

1. Malaysia is R3. Any game is playable on PS4, not region locked. The only thing that matter is when u want to buy DLC. Let say ur game disc is R2, u need a R2 PSN account to buy the DLC.

2. Just check the model number.

3. Yes. The country u set during registration is ur region code.

Not much. But read b4 ppl complain about slim easier to get hot. Maybe if ventilation is ok then shouldn't be a problem.

Why set NZ region if u intend to buy games from MY store? Why don't just create a MY PSN account?

Ok, realised u moved to NZ. Actually, u can still set up a MY PSN account and buy digital games from MY store. Only problem is getting credit into your MY PSN account. I'm not sure if there will be problems with CC (assuming u using CC from NZ banks) due to the different region.

If u plan to buy digital only, then shouldn't be any issue. NZ disc is R4, so u need a NZ account if u want to buy DLC for any of your R4 disc game. (This is not a really a problem because u can have multiple PSN account set to your PS4)

I think our CNY Lunar sales was quite decent, just that less frequent compare to US. Heck, even US sometimes get good deals on physical discs from Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart etc...

Yes, connect to your DS4. Then press and hold the PS button. Then select Audio output to "All Audios". That's for my cheapo set-up

Some of the better headphone (like Sony Wireless Headset) has virtual surround sound and connect directly to your PS4 via a wireless USB.

I think the 1 you google is about the stock mono headset that come together with your PS4? That 1 quality really sucks.

Wait another 2 months for new model. Then price of old model will drop as well.

Personally if u want a good 4K+HDR TV, go for Samsung KS7000/7500 or LG OLED B6 and above. The 6 Series for Samsung is just 4K and not-really full fledged HDR

U can compare and see the difference in picture quality between KS7000 and those 6 series.

Too bad that 49" seems no longer sold in MY...if not will have a lower price point..So far 55" KS7000 cheapest i found is RM4.9k

Wait for upcoming re-stock in March. No way u can find a decent-priced unit in KL or Selangor, unless u willing >RM2.1k++ for it

the only PS4 pro stock that i saw ppl post in FB group last week is in Sony Centre Kota Kinabalu.

Luckily i decided to quickly grab the PS4 Pro from Saveallstore in January (at RM1899 each) when i saw them posted new stock.

hopefully. just worried that even after they bring a lot of stock in, demand > supply
