Nope, PS4 pro is the only way to play VR, when regular PS4 can't run 90FPS on basic Miku dancing what's going to happen to future hectic games? I'd go out of my way to downgrade visual quality to hit 90FPS if developers provide that option.

The gains are VERY noticeable, choppy Miku becomes a real Miku performing live in your face.

I've been using active battle mode with the occasional wait mode for faster enemy (damned you Couerl!). Yeah usually I hold R1 to cast Libra, locked on enemy and strategizes myself in wait mode, if you move a little the wait mode deactivate itself.

I have been playing FFXV on OG PS4 with HDR and I felt it is a bit bright..

hi, about to get a new ps4 slim and a new comer to ps world.

so wanna know a few things before i kick ass with my ps.

1. i know i need to get a PSN (or was it PS plus?) to play mp online with other people. but do i need it if i just want to stay connected with other people online? ie friendlist, join community, chats, stream, etc etc.

2. ps4 can connect to wifi or must it be a wired connection?

3. what is a season pass? how does it work? does it expires?

1. Ps plus is required if you want to play multiplayer & co-op. The benefit of ps plus is you get a free games every month and a discount if you want to purchase game in the ps store. Other than that as your stated above, non ps plus user can join the stream, hats, community etc.

2. Both.You can connect either via wifi or wired. But if you have a weak wifi connection, I reccomend use wired connection.

3. Season pass is a whole package dlc of a video game. Example, if you purchase Star Wars : Battlefront normal edition, you can purchase either a seperate dlc or buy the season pass to have all the dlc's in the package in the ps store.

3. Yes, the season pass is quite costly but it's actually cheaper if you combine the price of all the separate dlc. Can you elaborate more about the expiry period? If you purchase season pass by online, it automatically redeem all the dlc so there's no expire date. Unless if you buy the physical disc, certain games give you a bonus item, skin or whatsoever via code. That code have the expire date for certain period. Hope that give you the answer

yes i'm getting a disc. in short, i'm getting the ps4 ffxv luna version which come with the disc lol. so i think it doesnt include season pass in it.

I ordered that particular Gemfive HolidayBP since 7th, but till now, no arrived and G5 status is stuck at "acknowledge" really BS service from G5.

Ah I see. There's no expiry date if you buy the season pass at the ps store online. Once you already bought it, you have the access of all the dlc even some of them didn't release yet. Like if the dlc game have just release, your account automatically download the dlc.

Your FFXV game is Deluxe Edition, it doesn't have the season pass, but there are few bonus item in game that you have to redeem the code.

PS4 Pro with PSVR is a BIIIG difference maker to OG PS4 + PSVR. There's zero reason to play PSVR with the OG PS4 tbvh.

HDR is hit and miss. Depends on the TV, depends on how it is implemented. Honestly some games it is nice, some not so. XV is great, TLG is crap for example. Using an LG OLED E6 as reference here.

From what I've heard Stardew Valley is already available for NA and Europe, but when will it be available for Asian region? I've also been waiting for Hitman
