guys what is the best affordable tv with HDR to use with PS4 pro . Seems like the ks7000 49" price have gone up from 3.6k to 5k ++ ...

Now im torn whether it's worth spending 5k for a TV .

Current choice

1. Sony X800d
2. Sony x700d
3. Samsung ku6300
4. Samsung ks7000

From reading review ks7000 seems to be the best of the bunch . But buying tv at year end not sure whether thats a good idea
Currently , using LG LG LN5700  tv and Dell u2913wm monitor . Will this be a big jump from full hd to 4k with hdr ?

I got the 49KS7000 but I don't know if it the best out of all that you listed but what I do know is the TV is really great. The colours for HDR gaming looked amazing and the 4K gaming looked crisp and details. I bought it during the discounted period so if you want to buy it right now it's not the best TV if you're on a budget. My suggestion is to wait for the 2017 4K/HDR TV in June/July next year if you're not in a hurry to upgrade your display. TV manufacturers will surely improve the 4K HDR TV capabilities for gaming purposes.

If you dead-set on buying a new TV, Sony X800D is the best choice. It got wide colour gamut for HDR gaming, the only downside is it peak brightness not achieving 100 nits required for HDR gaming (according to www.rtings.com). If there's a good sale for X800D, why not tho.

None of the above mention model is good for budget buy now.

The promotion you bought is 3.5k right? now all the price is at least 5-6k above

I got it at 3.3k on 11 Street. Like I mentioned before the Sony X800D is good enough if someone is on a tight budget. That model also got featured on Rting.com.

comes in 43" and 49" option only.

if you guys are planning to get a mid-high end TV, i suggest to wait for CES 2017, which is few months away. Sony's rumored to come out with OLED TVs.

Sony TV LCDs line up are already expensive as heck right now, I cannot imagine how high up their OLEDs price gonna be. Haha

I see many negative comments on their fb channel which make me worried

Are they talking about the PS4 Pro delay? If so the PS4 Pro have a inventory problem throughout all store in Malaysia, so they cannot do anything to address the complaints. I don't think they will have problem to fulfill ready stock item tho.

thanks for sharing .  I already pulled trigger for curved ku6300 instead after reading that va panel on the k6300 is better than  x800d 49" ips .

unless the x800d 43" with va panel availabe would have purchase it instead.

is rm 2.2k a good budget buy?  Made a mistake not ordering ks7000 when the 43" was available for 3.6k.

Hope gaming on ps4 pro on 4k would be nice....

Nice buy man. The KU6300 is a good TV for 4K gaming and movies. Yeah I think RM2.2k is a good price for that model.

Also, there are no 43" for the KS7000 model. The lowest are 49" and that was the one that been on sale at RM3.4k on 11 Street before.

Guys i need some advise here,

My US ps+ is already expired, due to my currency the US ps+ is getting more expensive, now I'm thinking to switch to MY ps+ ,one thing is if I switch to MY ps+ i will lost all the monthly free games which i have been claimed since I bought my ps4 back in 2013.

How guys....I'm dilemma now
*
Yes you cannot play the monthly free games on your US account if you didn't renew PS Plus for that account. MY account is essentially a separate profile with its own game library.

I'm also having the same thought of changing to my MY PSN right now. With the increasing exchange rate, buying games on the US PSN are expensive even with the weekly sales. Unfortunately I've already extended my US PS Plus subscription early this year. doh.gif
