i am just pissed at his attitude. i am a customer & i didn't do anything to him to warrant that kind of attitude.

i just wanted to know about my status on the pro waiting list & he acted like i am some peasant who couldn't afford to buy anything sony.

sony staff should act more better then some lousy kampung electrical shop staff but this guy act like he just came back from tongsan.

Only 1080p, I can't spend another 2k when I only got my pro. My wife will kill me hehe.

I went to 1U and they are selling samsung 43ku6000 for 2k and lg 43uh610t for 1.8k.

full hd tv as low as 799..........

monitor for gaming is a very very bad idea

Monitors have lower input lag (or response time), i absolutely hate playing on big tvs because of that.

How many edition FFxv there is? Thinking about getting one but other than normal one.....

Well IMO getting the Pro doesn't mean you need a 4K display device. Personally I am one of those who is upgrading from PS4 to PS4 Pro for higher FPS and better quality at 1080p. I know Rise of the Tomb Raider is one of the games that have that kind of mode.

Also, gaming on monitor is not that bad at all. I have always game on a monitor. I own a gaming PC with monitor and a 3 piece speaker. When I change from PC gaming to console gaming, it is just very convenient to have both my PC and PS4 (or PS3 back then) connected to my monitor so I can continue gaming from both devices. You'll probably need a different connection to for audio output though, cause monitor don't have speakers. I use the optical port and a converter. Sony stupidly removed the optical port in the Slim version.

The setup for monitor and TV is different I guess. For TV, ideally you want to sit further away and use a bigger TV. For monitor gaming, you should be using it just like you are using a PC. Meaning you should be sitting right in front of it. Well that's my take anyway from a former PC gamer.

Still waiting for my Pro though, god damn Gamehypermart. I probably will only get it after Chinese new year.

Just curious but how much is the PS4 Pro now when pre-ordering from Sony Center outlets? Just curious, since I saw one online seller marking up the price to rm1999 and then reducing it back to rm1799 - stating that you'll save rm200.

Gaming on pc monitor is better compared to TV due to the input lag if you are a hardcore fps gamer .
Console FPS do have large player based as well thats why got MLG for COD . Not everyone will have same skill on controller and to generalize is a bit too much .
To each of its own will have MLG no scope skill and some resort to XIM4 or scuff controller to be better .

But at the end of day normal controller is the best way to go provided you have the time and patience.

The official price from sony malaysia is RM1799 for PS4 pro. Don't buy from any conman who is selling higher.

to call scalper conman is not right after all its based on willing buyer willing seller . As simple as supply and demand case .
Nobody force you to buy something that is overprice but if you have the money and dont have the patient I dont see anything wrong .

The problem lies with the supplier itself underestimate the market . I think from now onwards we will starting to see console having mid life upgrade cycle which is not good ....
