It's great when it works. Unfortunately, the product's QA is pretty dicey. You either get one that works properly or one that doesn't.

you still can download game while transfering the games though. I spend my whole weekend downloading back my previous games

hey if my PSN account is R3, and my game is RALL, and I want to redeem the DLC, can I just open a U.S account just to play this game and claim the DLC? do i need a vpn to register a new US account?

After redeem DLC, you can play the game on R3 if you prefer it.

Depends on game. Certain game DLC locked to account.

I think you will have to play it on the US account, If i am not mistaken, only games like complete edition or game of the year edition which has all the DLCs in the game it self without redeeming/buying, you can play it on the Malaysian account with no problems.
