well yes , but the percentage is low for the overheating issue ( PS4 first version ) , for PS4 slim & PS4 pro its early to say cuz sony just released it in the market .. only some reporting overheating issue , others work perfectly ... thats why it's advisable to get south east asia set warranty by sony malaysia + regional warranty ( https://asia.playstation.com/my/en/regional_warranty )

how would you know its south east asia set ?

1. last 2 numbers in the model name 06 indicate south east asia set

CUH-1006 / CUH-1106 / CUH-1206 ( for PS4 first version )

CUH-2006 ( for PS4 slim version )

CUH-7006 ( for PS4 pro version )

all models end up with 06 warranty by sony malaysia + regional warranty ( https://asia.playstation.com/my/en/regional_warranty )

why dont you write a letter to santa , you will get PS4 pro this sunday ...

yea , the same situation when PS4 first version officially released in malaysia 3 years ago , the stock will come batch by batch , nothing we can do ..

you must register the warranty via online to activate your warranty

they released it 10th november 2016 , only pre-ordered clients will get the ps4 pro batch by batch ( just some of them managed to get on time , most still waiting ) .. for walk in clients dont hope for it at the moment

if me , i will send to sony service center , might be bit expensive but peace of mind

at first they should set a limit for pre-order per batch , when the first batch available , who ever pre-ordered previously will get their set on time ... then open for pre-order 2nd batch ... thats how it should works for the next batch etc

even pre-ordered customer didnt get their ps4 pro yet , walk in and buy ps4 pro straight away , dont dream bout it

basically its not their fault ( sony malaysia ) , we must understand newly launched item ( the stock ) will come batch by batch , for those who pre-ordered the earliest will get the stuff first then follow by the others on the list , all we need is to be patient , its not life and death situation

some sellers they want us to pre oder from them , as many as they can get without thinking the amount of stocks availability soon .. end up stocks not enough and client will get mad when they didnt get their item on time
