recently i bought this external hdd to use with my ps4,

tried it yesterday, but the ps4 is not reading it. connected the thing directly to the ps4, and the hdd just blinks, and nothing.

am i doing something wrong? or is the hdd not supported?

did that, formatted to exfat, hooked it to the ps4, still nothing.

cant even do it on the ps4, went to settings, device, it says "the device is not connected"

Guess i get conned by Gemfive and gameon , i pre-ordered my ps4 pro in november and last minute just when all the ps4 pro's are available they terminate the pre-order and refunding my money? i guess they used my money for rolling for almost 5 months, this is the most unsatisfactory online purchase i ever been through. people should beware of gameon and gemfive! they will give all kind of discounts and voucher, after sometime they will say its not possible to proceed? then refund the money after months?  Actually this is my 2nd ps4 pro pre-order on gemfive since the first 1 get canceled after weeks.

first time posting this thread. I've been planning to get ps4 for a long time, but the announcement for ps4 pro got me waiting. After that, sony slashed the price for ps4 slim which got me conflicted between a cheap ps4 or a newer ps4 pro. Yesterday I saw an offer at 11street that made my mind. Of course I might have to wait till mid April for the 2nd batch to arrive.


I haven't bought any games yet, but among my list are:
- uncharted 4
- MGSV
- Ratchet & Clank
- Nier Automata
- Amplitude (my old classic fav since ps2)
- RE5,6,7 (my fav series)

Any other suggestions? I'm actually looking more at games that I can play together with my kids or they can play by themselves in 2 person mode. GTA definitely out of the list as I do not like the game element. LEGO series are good, but they've played it in PC mode already.

Planning to get P5 Collector edition from french amazon, as that is the only place that still got CE..my PSN acc is R2, knowing persona, I afraid if i choose english as language, it will be in french dub with english sub..hoho

it's not loud all the times...just that inconsistent fan noise, RPM goes up & down at times...only during gaming/loading though, not on homescreen..
I wonder is this normal or defect
