Najib is ‘the chosen one’ as ‘Allah chose him’, says Umno MP
KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 11— Allah had picked Umno president Datuk Seri Najib Razak to lead Malaysia as the sixth prime minister, an Umno lawmaker claimed today.

In debating Najib’s policy speech at the 69th Umno general assembly here, Jerlun MP Datuk Othman Aziz said that the position of the prime minister is not something that can be helmed by anyone.

“I want to tell you that not everyone can be prime minister. There is only one, because Allah chose him and he is the chosen one,” the Jerlun Umno division head said, referring to Najib.

“Datuk Seri Najib has admirable professional management skills; he has the delegates and tools of management,”  Othman added.

He also called on Umno members to work together with Najib and to have a sense of belonging in the party.

“We need to have a sense of belonging...a shared right. We are a big party and Datuk Seri (Najib) can’t do everything himself,” he added.

Najib has come under harsh criticism lately, among others, on the alleged mismanagement of state-owned investment firm 1Malaysia Development Berhad (IMDB), as well as on the use of several laws to clamp down on his critics, both from within Umno or the opposition.

Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has been one of the most vocal critics of Najib’s administration and has repeatedly pushed for his successor to resign from office.

So they saying bijan is a prophet? Is this is not considered blasphemy? Syariah applies or not here?
