Hey guys,

i just build a budget desktop at low yat, when i open my computer, it appear word as below :-

"the current system does not support the cpu if wish to continue, the cpu will be underclocked to maintain system stability"

my cpu was AMD Fx-4350, 4.2Ghz, but now i only can get 2.8Ghz , what can i do to get back 4.2 Ghz?

or it has other solution for it?

What motherboard you use?

It just my hunch, probably your motherboard is not supporting TDP more than 125W, thus throttling your CPU. AMD FX-4350 required 125 W to work efficiently.

what motherboard and what ram are you using?

Here was my spec:-
AMD FX-4350 AM3+ 4300MhZ 125W Processor
Kingston 8 GD 1600 MHZ DDR3
Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2 Motherboard
Gigabyte GV-N420-2GI GTX420 2GB Graphic Card
PSU and fan was follow by Computer Casing,power logic~ 450Watt PSU
no additional fan on the AMD FX-4350~

Now i only get 2.81GHz T^T

The motherboard doesn't support 125W processor. You need board with stronger VRM to sustain that current.

P/S : Why you get that crappy graphics? If you only need monitor output, the onboard 760G will do it fine. If you want to play games, it is not the card to use.

Your motherboard's VRM might burn out as it is not rated to run that.

MY Budget was Rm1800 include a Rm329 Monitor

You must change the mobo if you want to get full speed.
Give the mobo back to the people and complain.

The people that spec this build for you don't know anything about computer.

You can play but the build is not optimum for the price you paid.

the graphic card i let it be first ba~ when i got extra money, i try to updated it~ GTX1060

Any 970 mobo will be fine for that. Remember to fork out RM200-ish for a PSU to power the GTX1060.

Can u asked that person what defines the crack?
How does he crack the mobo?
Is it OC or is it TUNE UP setting to be exact.

not crack but krait edition. did you complain why they give you mobo that doesn't support the processor? Later I afraid they tipu you gao-gao again because the seller already tipu about the mobo and they can tipu you again. If they still doing like this you can threaten them with report to police.
The seller just cincai give you the mobo because you don't know anything about cpu setup.

Actually should argue with them. If they sold the product to you, it is expected to run at the rated speed, not you have to top up to get full speed.

Instead of paying more, you might as well tell them to swap with a Core i3 Haswell model and H81 motherboard.

Works even faster than an FX-4xxx series and power draw around half. Confirm performance out of the box without you having to top up.

They "cheat" you again. Motherboard is not the main factor for the performance. Krait edition is a motherboard series from MSI that supports SLI and black and white colour scheme.
