does the UMD region affect X-Link? eg can PAL users connect with NTSC/US or NTSC/J users? my mhf is PAL version

wah, HR4 really challenging! Los and Ian were sort of easy-ish in HR2 now they power up very kuat oh!

what armor you recommend for HR4 quests? currently im using full Gravious K set. not so good but at least anti-heat and high DEF.

i think its around 150 ± 5.
yeah i have been memorizing their attacks.
still they're faster, stronger and more cunning.

eg: i faced Ian just now. Ian does 2 screams then rushes or triple fireball. worst is 2x poison tail back-flip = me instant KO.

i need more practice with Ian before the others.

oh yeah! i tried HR3 special quest fatalis! looked like DBZ dragon very powerful. can fireball while descending! oh my~

question about the felynes. (i never used them before )

from what i've read they do the cooking to increase the character's stats. do the stats remain permanent or it resets back to the character's untempered stats after a quest?

when you create weapons you focus of raw ATK or element ATK?

is there a trick in carving? trying to get sm lao claws from lao village quest. killed 'em like 6-7 times today, all i got were shells and scales....

dont you think all the weapons obtainable from rust stones are pretty crap in comparison to ancient stone weapons?

all those exclusive rust stone weapons have lower attack power and sharpness then those of ancient stones.

have u guys tried trap + bombing strategy? those guys i was playing with really cracked me up. instead of going all out to hunt the monsters they tried baiting them with drugged meat etc so when its asleep or trapped everyone planted 2 large bombs each around the monster. lol crack up
