your kai compatible with kai?

i'm using ZD1211 chipset based dongle..

He is using Ralink chipset if im not mistaken..

I got LevelOne WNC-0301USB and this is how i set:

1) download the driver here
2) uninstall every driver and utilities for this dongle from your pc.
3) install the driver from u just downloaded.
4) go to kai config, both port to 30000, enable PAT, launch UI & engine and show dangerous NICs. Set your NIC to WNC-0301.
5) go to LevelOne utilities, put network type as adhoc mode, authentication auto and disable WEP. Set the channel same as in psp's adhoc setting (default 6).
6) reboot pc
7) run kai, go to diagnostic mode
8) on your psp, go to picture. set as send/receive. your wifi indicator will blinking.
9) go to LevelOne Utilities. Now u will see a network named like PSP_AULESXXXX. Click connect.
10) take a look at diagnostic in kai. If your psp detected, voila... You succeed setting it completely.


Note:
1) Dont use other driver. Well, you can but if failed, blame yourself..
2) Make sure your port 30000 is open.

Too bad, v3 using Ralink chipset. Which is incompatible with kai engine. At least from what i know.

The driver iinm works for v1 and v2 only. Mine is v2.

Dont change anything about LevelOne TCP/IP.
Adhoc channel for both psp and LevelOne must be same. (preferably 6 for both)
If you want to know port 30000 is opened, check it here or at diagnostic mode, take a look at "network Reachable".

PSP detected = can see people in guild hall.

Means your software/router/modem firewall blocked port 30000. That one i cant help much. You need to port forward in your modem/router config. Try look here, maybe your modem/router listed.

its nothing wrong about your router... its between wifi dongle, the utilities and your psp...

both adhoc same channel?

your utilities SSID already PSP_AULESXXXX ?

Both SSID. Dongle SSID will follow PSP SSID.

Lol, i'm using LevelOne WNC-0301USB V2 la..

i dont change any other setting other than the Utilities and Kai's config. No TCP/IP evolved.

Windows Firewall: On (i think exception for port 30000)

i tested at canyouseeme, its green(open). But your problem is not about kai to internet but kai to psp...

mine also dont have. planex's got. but as far as i remember, its unticked..

Try this:
1) Plug in your dongle
2) Go to guildhall
3) Connect to psp using L1 Utilities
4) start kai, go to diagnostic mode
5) reenter guild hall


anyway, my "PAT Enable" in kai config is off.

the mini2g is new model.. on the box written supported for psp kai.. i think this is the 1st model after planex joint-venture with xlink kai..

standard is most of kai player here is using. 2g is new release special for kai(after they collaborate with xlink kai). technically, both is same imo..

yeah.. maybe less troublesome to connect kai.. maybe its utilities already integrated with kai engine..

its cheap.. go buy..

u cant change the rutstone type.. crossbow type rutstone cant be polish to get hammer..
