Hi Guys,

I have bought a Z5 earlier this year in January, roughly use for 1 year, the Wifi Network card got a bit of issue. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I can't predict when it will work or not so I bought an external USB Network Card just for standby. Anyone else having this issue? I want to send it in but not sure how long will it take to repair as I don't have a backup laptop at the moment =(

Can I also have your serial number to check if you are entitled for the 8260-AC Intel Wireless-AC card upgrade? This card is performing far better than the 7265-N.

Already PM'ed you the serial number

Bye bye my ILLEGEAR Laptop battery. It is 100% faulty. Officially removed from my Laptop. Since I no longer bringing out the Laptop, battery is unnecessary anymore.

Now my laptop is official mutant to PC 😂

Gonna necro this post but need some advice. I have the Z5 Skylake as well and the battery is dead, anyone managed to get their hands on any oem battery? I went back to illegear but they mentioned they don't have any stock.

Anyone still using the 2nd gen z5? Does it support m.2 ssd? Or sata only?

This laptop is quite old already. I don’t believe any manufacturer will support it for that long. You should probably use it with a plug-in charger always.

Yeah that's what im doing now, pity though the specs are still good enough for day to day use and work
