Following...  Was deciding between Ertiga, ALZA and BR-V

deciding Sienta, Ertiga, BRV too. Price off coz big different, need to factor in equipment, maintenance, brand, personal preference, quality, .....etc...

I went to showroom this morning and no test drive available.

The only problem is the second row aircond, The SA told me is not aircond and is a fan blower bring the cool air from the front.

The cabin air filter will not filter out the outside smoke smell if the design of the airflow is not properly done. My 2010 Honda FD1 has the smoke smell if going too close to a lorry or motorbike.

Cabin air filter filters out the dust during AC operation when you have internal air circulation or even from outside.

I have installed a cabin air filter for my wife 2005 Honda City where originally the car doesn't come with, and the result is lesser wind when you turn on the AC, because half of the wind already been blocked by the filter, so it is not a good idea to install one.

Cabin filter is not bad, it helps filter out cabin dust. But it will compromise on the air flow.

Got my car today afternoon and send for wax and coating and polish. Manage to get back the car ard 6. Over driving is good. As for sound insulation, yes i can hear the noise very clear when nearby noisy place. And there is a switch under the air con under that you can switch between inner air circulation and get the air from outside. I suggest you should switch to inner air circulation to avoid smelly air from outside.

Your SA maybe right on that advice. Mine gave me the same advice too and i've been using my BRV for almost 5 months now. So far so good.

Do that espcially on cold start during morning.

But on afternoon and onwards, just press brake & press engine start button both simultaneously will do.

So are you saying we should start up normally (brake pedal + engine start) or follow SA advice?

What's wrong with your push start button?

Gosh, that button for RM300+?

Any sign for it before it start failing?
