MY first MG gundam and the first model kit I have build in five years.

Managed to broke two parts (thank god (pun intended) managed to fix it and none will the be wiser), accidently shaved off a bit too much on one and stickers placement not very good.

Also don't have sand paper around so couldn't smoothen those plastic bits.

However, discovered the joys of gundam marker and I was surprised that simple lining really adds to the beauty of the kit.

Here are some pics of the model. Sloppy lining and 'dirt' effect. tongue.gif I am a casual modeller, never painted any (well I did try painting an AE86 and it was disastrous). Please be gentle notworthy.gif

Gotta love the poseability, in only bandai use this fighting frame in more of their kit.

I think going to try an MG Gundam kit next. I am all about very articulated kit now.

Finally completed my MG Strike!!! Took me a total of about 20 hours. I only stop to sleep for four hours before continuing. Fun and challenging kit to build. I snapfit and lining only and first impression was that it was very very plain even after lining.

But after adding decals, this thing looks like a GT car. I wish there is more decal for me to stick.

I bought this over IWSP because of the base and it's well worth it.

Got a bonus while building this kit.

My only minor complain is that it's not very articulated. I mean I have MG God Gundam so I guess the comparison is probably unfair but still, this is supposed to be a newer kit but overalls the poses are really limited compared to God Gundam.

And, can't hold the rifle properly. The hands lacked the piece of plastic that lets you snap the rifle onto the palm for a solid hold of the rifle.
