My MK II ver.2 Lacus Clyne type.

panel lining using tamiya enamel XF-24 + toothpicks.
2 shades of pink.
light purple is a mix of purple with white.
Whites are done using Dove and Anchor white spray can.
Thinner bottles not shown

Dark metal is Tamiya TS-38 Gun Metal . Rm29.90, but usually they have 10% discount. Toycity shops.

1 or 2 years ago.. toycity suddenly had an offer Rm19.90 per bottle, but I have never seen this happen again (.

Dove or Anchor Silver is Rm5.90 per bottle. Can find at carrefour, jusco, parkson at their DIY section.

Tamiya TS is finer droplets, dove an anchor paint is rougher and I think bigger paint droplets.

As mentioned before. This is my PG strike. Althought i will will admit that i could be called the "unfinished business" king. As I don't think i will completely do up to strike. Some panel lines are not done. Some parts are still unpainted. Feet and thigh, already cut a rectangular hole and want to add a red sensor like GP01, use transparency sheet.

Inside the body I have fit in 2 led's and 2 tiny batteries. IT lights up last time. but now doesn't anymore . Wonder why and juz too lazy to fix it. I had this idea because at the chest area at both side of the cockpit hatch, there are 2 clear parts inside. I just can't resist the idea of lighting it up.

Anyway, the orange is hand painted using tamiya acrylic X-6 Orange, greys are XF-54 Dark Sea Grey. After that, sandpaper to smoothen out the handpaint work. Silver inner frame using Tamiya silver leaf and the very light weathering, panel lining using tamiya enamel grey paint with a toothpick. Copper pistons,gold parts handpaint using Gunze copper and gold. White is Tamiya TS spray.


haha.. also shows my gathering of 1/60 gundams, including the old painted strike and again 1/2 painted Freedom and 3/4 painted God Gundam.

Thanks . I already mentioned .. haha.. I don't think i will ever finish it. Just let it be until some inspiration or motivation arises but I doubt it .
The red feet hahaa.. yes yes weird. But at that time, I finished a bottle of orange paint and didn't have extras. Searched IOI,southc city plaza, Times SQ Toycity and they don't have this color. Oh well..

abit of dry brush lor. But actually it's a cheat . Painted the armor below a darker color, then sandpaper the orange until the black is seen. haha.. Alternative to max technique. Just as long as you're gentle and don't oversand until the bare plastic.

Sigh .. just doing wat basic i know without having an airbrush.

Aiyo.. why play safe? Go abit crazy la.. haha.. paint different color, mod abit (as long as your customer is ok wif it...hmm) . But overall clean and tidy PG strike.
