QUOTE(Lurker @ Jun 29 2007, 07:46 AM) my PG is still stuck at where the last pics i showed. been quite bz with work and picture editing haiya taiko.. use nail polishing stick from pharmacy one la..each time i cut the parts of the runners a bit sakit hati also.. hahaa coz i know i am not going to paint em, seeing left overs white colored stubs on the parts really ruins it. i have tried rubbing with my nails in the water, it doesn't work for all parts i think cannot meh? |

QUOTE(madmoz @ Mar 17 2009, 12:57 PM) Small update! No weapons yet so have to resort to street fighter pose... and since shinn's destiny is obviously gonna be ryu (can shoot fireballs out of his palms one it doesn't matter. shading or not, up to ur preference.» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Got question to ask about shading/shadowing the white bits... i see some works in photos where the shading is kinda obvious (i.e. just right) but when i try to mimic this and take a photo, the shading looks a bit light or non existant. And to get what looks decent in photos i will need to apply more intense shadows... hence for the photos to look nice i will end up having a model that shouts "Look! Look at me!!! I was coloured with an airbrush you know" unnatural which i totally dislike. I hope I dinnae confuse you guys, but is there any other way to get round this? Or is my lack of photo taking technique skills causing this? of course shaded kits, at some point if well done added some depth to it. no worry, u haven't do panel line yet. after adding panel line it will "enhance" the appearence of it (unshaded and unlined kits may look abit toyish at this point of time and subtlely shaded kits don't show up well in picture (at least for a noobish photo shooter like me This post has been edited by erh_teo: Mar 18 2009, 12:15 PM |
