QUOTE(chriswoo @ Oct 24 2008, 10:27 PM) almost done only how left decal and diao » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « any C&C are welcome. So this is the controversial kit. While looking messy, I think the main problem could be the colour scheme of the "extras" Perhaps a darker red and some weathering would make it even more ganas and not something that just freshly rolled out of the factory. The grey/silver parts just don't go well with the red of the Big Red Machine. Just my 2 sens. My own skill level compared to Chris is probably -100 to what Chris can do!

Something that I wanted to do in a long time. ZAKU Stream Attack!!! Just normal panelling and some markers of NG1/100, HG1/44 and a HCM-Pro Zakus. Wish Bandai would come out with a Seed Destiny Zaku MG using the V2 frames.

@Chris : Awesome man, much better than the first design. A little something I did over Christmas night. The Speed Grade RX-78-2. I compared it to my HCM-Pro and it looks like it used a prototype mold from the HCM-Pro. The parts look exactly the same! But the HCM-Pro has more panel lines, has the ability to cast-off certain parts and chrome parts in the feet hydraulics. The SG has none of those. Think of the SG as a poor mans HCM-Pro. I like SG's because they have pre-coloured parts (much like Koto kits) and looks real nice OOB (the pics don't do them justice). But with a bit of panel lining they would look even better. But the parts are small and I have shaky hands so I pretty much leave it as it is. They also come with a nifty display stand to place them on. If you can find them cheap, I say go for it.

@Chriswoo : I like it. Bulky but slim at the same time, LOL!. 2 thing stands out for me. The shield and the gun barrel. Perhaps you need to re-colour it to follow the rest of the colour scheme. Looks really odd now.

Bushin soukou Daizengar, kenzan! Ware wa Zengar Zonbolt! Kami o tatsu tsurugi nari!!!! » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « The Zankantou is really heavy. It hampers the kit's poseability because the weight of the Zankantou will wear the polycap joints of the arms...And this kit has many spiky parts... Too bad the combo pack with the Aussenseiter cost a bomb...It's really a sweet kit.

MG Sazabi. As a fixed model it looks impressive. Proportion looks great IMO, but remember this is an OLDER kit. As with all large MG kits, fingers are moveable. No mods are required. With a stand, you can get a decent pose for it, but the thing is heavy. You want to get fanstastic poses, mod it. Back view. Comparing it a MG F-91. It's twice the size. The Zankantou is for fun. Comparing it with a HG (yes it does say HG on the box) 1/60 V2 Gundam. It's about the same height with the 1/100 Sazabi.

Per Starghazzers request, the V2 1/60 Gundam. The Original Gundam with the Devastating Wings of Light! » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Front View, hands are the old 1/100 HG Gundam type and are the exact size! Meaning, you don't have to swap hands. Fingers have limited articulation but the thumb is fixed. Side View. Its pretty fat due to the core fighter. Wonder when Bandai will actually come out with an MG... Back View. You can see the nose cone of the Core Fighter. Core Fighter. Had a hard time transforming this. Alot of squeky sounds. the type that gives you goose bumps.... Actually it can transform to the Top fighter and the Leg/Bottom(?) fighter. But since I got this kit many years ago and haven't really touch it at all, most of the joints are pretty hard now. It's also covered in dust...

QUOTE(StarGhazzer @ Mar 23 2009, 04:27 PM) Duke: More action poses of the V2 !! Although I doubt the old kit can do many dynamic flashy poses Why no panel lines ? Finally get back the camera from the GF No panel lines because I got this before I started panel lining.... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Action poses. That's about how much articulation this thing is going to have... Bonus Pics. The 1/44 V2 gundam! (It's a VERY old kit...Hope they update it for HGUC or even a MG...) Comparing with the 1/60. Comparing with the HG 1/44 RX78 This mean machine actually came with the WOL and a nifty stand with a backdrop cardboard. (Not in pic)
