Most kwn do that then, walla camera fail.. Imo not whatsapp issue more towards phone issue.
no wonder my wife new lenovo P2 suddenly encounter camera fail. every-time she take picture through whatsapp, one shot ok, then when try the second time or more. the error pop up.

My supplier confirm 2nd batch of their p2 majority having the same prob. Either audio or camera or rotation or all..
Already pass supplier to send to sc, wait and see first for 2 to 4 weeks..
In the mean time they pass me zen3 max to play with
wow a spare phone, lucky you, must be close to the supplier.
my uncle does get this kind of treatment when his samsung S6 screen was damage and send for repair, and samsung service centre give him a A5 or something for him to use for 2 weeks since the spare-part need pending arrival plus staff on leave due to holiday celebration (1 week plus).
Oh ya din't really try out the rotation as I always use my phone in portrait mode except for youtube videos. Good for u la a zen3 max, i got a zen6 with constant low battery + overheating + flickering screen lol
no issue for rotation on my wife phone, only camera and soft whatsapp recording audio.
taking photo from stock or other dedicated camera apps i think can consider easy also.why go disturb whatsapp which is supposingly a messaging app with some add on only and give problem and headeach to oneself leh
in my opinion, depend on scenariolah sir, let say you chit-chat via whatsapp, and ur kawan/bos/gf/bf/etc ask to share some pic which one is easier/faster/less steps:-
1. go back to main-menu and open the dedicated camera apps or etc stuff you want to share 2. just use the short cut that whatsapp ready for u to share pic/camera/audio/location/document/ etc..
